SoloTimeplan is a fully web based scheduling and rostering application.
SoloTimeplan allows multiple calendars to be held and supports a rolling plan of which contracts need to be fulfilled and which staff are allocated to which job.
It provides various views and filters to make viewing large amounts of calendar data easily visible. Views can be monthly, weekly, daily or as project time. The system is typically used where there are large numbers of hourly paid staff on various locations such as in the domiciliary care environment or the security industry.
Co-ordinators can view their own area calendar. However, they can also query other workers and allocate them to their contracts. There are validation checks within the scheduling system to stop double bookings. Contract templates can be set up by any user and these can then be deployed to reduce the amount of data entry required, where shift patterns follow a regular cycle.
Many tasks are supported including holidays or absences. The system produces payroll reports and any tasks can be paid or unpaid and can either be paid as a shift or by the hour. Additional functionality to control special pay days (e.g. double pay for Christmas Day) is included and special functions for Tupe staff are also included.
Schedules can be automatically emailed or sent as SMS text or sent as a SoloAdvance Message to staff to ease communications. For SoloAdvance users, actual times tasks that are completed are sent back to the scheduling software for payroll purposes and KPI business performance analysis.
SoloTimePlan has been developed in conjunction with HT Projects Ltd, a Chorley based software development company. The system is based around their existing Time Plan software and contains many of their standard features for the homecare market, but has been enhanced to include features that are applicable to most businesses with a mobile workforce that needs to be scheduled and monitored.
